Classic Companions
Like classic cars that can still make it around the track for many more laps, Classic Companions still have a lot to offer a new family. Our Classic Canines and Felines are five or more years old, no longer puppies, kittens or romping adolescents. Like the cars that have become classics because of their unique qualities and the passage of time, these homeless companion animals have already grown up and formed their distinct personalities.

Due to unfortunate circumstances, they have lost what they thought would be their forever home, yet they still have an enormous capacity to love and be loved. They are still racing for the checkered flag, that next stage of their life with a loving family and forever home. View our Classic Companions available for adoption below.

Why Adopt a Classic Companion?
Here are just a few reasons why you should consider adopting a Classic Companion.
1. Adult dogs and cats are just as friendly and loving as younger ones.
2. The personalities of these Classic Companions are well established, making it easier for a family to determine the traits of a companion animal that are best suited for them.
3. Puppies, kittens and adolescent pets can be rambunctious and lively, requiring a lot of attention, supervision and training.
4. Gratitude. Classic Canines and Felines are very grateful to be given another chance at happiness. You can erase any unpleasant past experiences they have had by loving them and caring for them. It doesn't get any better than that!

I am a little shy at first but will warm up to you quickly, especially if I can hang out in your lap. I love attention and the company of other dogs is fine. I need an adult home without children, but still need activity.

I am a sweet girl who loves to run and be outdoors. I am selective with my canine companions and tend to be dominate with them (yes, that equates to a bit bossy, can't help myself). I need to be the only animal princess in my home. I am very strong which makes me a better companion for adults and older children. I am a graduate of Canine Coaching.

I'm very affectionate and love to be rubbed and loved on. I'm timid and do not do well around small children, they make too much noise. I need a quiet home where I am the center of attention.
