Why We Need Donations & How To Help:

Founded in 1967 as the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals of Galveston County, Bay Area Pet Adoptions/SPCA is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and No-Kill shelter that relies on your donations to house feed and medically care for the dogs and cats taken in our adoption program. We are not operated or funded by any national animal group and must rely on contributions from people like you to keep our shelter open. All financial contributions and in-kind donations are tax deductible. Read more about us here.

Donations:

Monetary donations help us pay for things that the public can’t donate such as prescriptions, surgical supplies, anesthesia, vaccinations, medical grade cleaners, etc.  It also helps pay the bills that we have such as insurance, electrical, salaries and more.

Donations by check should be made payable to Bay Area Pet Adoptions and mailed to our address: 3000 Avenue R, San Leon, TX  77539
